Companies managing $100,000 per year in AI spend typically recover the cost of Zelaros within the first month through avoided overages, eliminated inactive SaaS seats, and reduced Finance overhead.

At $500 to $2,500 per month, Zelaros costs less than a single month of a platform engineer's time spent responding to ad-hoc AI cost reporting requests.

The question is not whether you can afford the visibility. It is what the absence of it is already costing you.

Frequently asked questions

What data does Zelaros access, and what does it not access?

Zelaros accesses billing API data only. This means cost totals, model-level usage breakdowns, API key identifiers, and seat utilization data for SaaS tools, depending on what each provider exposes through its billing API. We do not access prompt content, model outputs, completion data, conversation history, or any data your users send to or receive from your AI providers. The content of your AI interactions is not visible to us and never will be.

How long does setup take, and what does Engineering need to do?

Setup for a typical six-provider stack takes under 15 minutes and requires no Engineering involvement. You connect each provider by providing read-only billing API credentials through the Zelaros setup wizard. Any admin with billing access to your AI providers can complete the setup without writing code, deploying anything, or changing your existing infrastructure. Engineering involvement is optional and only relevant if you want to scope API keys more granularly for better attribution.

Does Zelaros work if we only use one or two providers right now?

Yes. Zelaros is useful from the first provider connection. A company running only OpenAI and Cursor, for example, gets immediate value from the unified view of API costs alongside seat utilization for the SaaS tool, plus the alert infrastructure and Finance export capabilities that do not exist natively in either provider's dashboard. You connect additional providers as you add them, and the value compounds as coverage expands.

What happens for providers that do not expose a billing API?

We support manual data import via CSV for providers whose billing APIs are restricted or unavailable. For providers on our roadmap that do not yet have a native integration, we document the manual import format and include that data in your unified view alongside your API-connected providers. We prioritize native API integrations based on which providers are most commonly added by our customers, so if your stack includes a provider we do not yet support natively, tell us and we will prioritize accordingly.

Can Finance connect and use Zelaros without Engineering involvement?

Yes, and this is by design. Zelaros was built to give Finance independent access to AI spend data without depending on Engineering to pull numbers or interpret billing outputs. Any billing admin can connect providers during setup. Finance users get their own view with department-level allocation, forecasting, and board-ready export tools that do not require technical configuration. Engineering can optionally set up team-level API key scoping to improve attribution granularity, but Finance reporting is fully functional without it.

Is there a free trial or pilot option for early access customers?

Early access participants work directly with the Zelaros founding team during a structured onboarding process. We offer a 30-day pilot period during which you connect your providers, see your real spend data in the dashboard, and evaluate the product against your actual use case before committing to a paid plan. Early access customers who convert to annual plans receive preferred pricing locked for the lifetime of their account. Apply through the Early Access page and a member of our team will respond within one business day.
